My friend was told she was having boy during the first 3 ultrasounds. She is now 8 months pregnant & the Tech just confirmed that she is having a baby girl lol. Soooo crazy!

Accuracy of ultrasound?
Thursday, July 14th, 2011How accurate are ultrasound gender predictions? Has anybody had different results – like girl if boy has been predicted or vice versa?
I am 24 weeks pregnant and the technician who did my 19 week ultrasound told me that I was carrying a baby girl. Now it took the technician a very long time to find this out as the baby had crossed its legs and was refusing to change its position. After making me walk around and changing my position, She announced tht it was a girl without any explaination and finished the ultrasound and walked off.
I am now so curious abt the accuracy of the gender. I really wish she had shown me the ultrasound screen and explained to me why she thot I was carrying a girl… can she be wrong and I am carrying a boy?
PS: All my symptoms say that I have a boy and there hasnt been a girl in my family since last 33 years.
I love the baby whether its a boy or a girl.. but knowing would just help me so much with the shopping and deciding on the name.. it would just make me feel so much closer to the child I am carrying..
The technician did give me the profile pics but dont have one of the lower portion of the baby

Sunday, July 3rd, 2011I have 3 beautiful gilrs and 18 weeks pregnant, me and my husband were hoping this one will be a baby boy, I did my 14 weeks ultrasound and doctor told us 51% BABY GIRL should I take this as an answer or wait a bit more, did u ever hear about someone was told girl at 14 weeks and turned out to be a boy, I’m so emotional and can’t describe how I feel, please help.
